Duties • Overall responsibility for system functionality in accordance with specifications, as well as customer and market requirements • Develop and maintain system-level designs, architecture, and technical specifications • Collaborate with technical coordinators, lead engineers, project managers, and customers to define, align, and implement system requirements • Develop system-level test plans and procedures to verify performance, safety, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards • Analyze test results and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability, performance, and efficiency • Contribute to troubleshooting and root cause analysis of system issues during development, testing, and operation • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to support innovation in lifting and handling solutions Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system development, integration, and lifecycle management
Required skills • Proven experience in a similar role (e.g., Systems Engineer, Service Engineer, or Electro/Automation Engineer) • Technical background within one or more of the following domains: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Automation/Software Engineering • Strong system-level understanding, including: • Power and electrical distribution interfaces • Drive systems (electrical and/or hydraulic) • Control and automation systems • Hydraulic systems • Functional safety systems • Ship interface systems • Experience from offshore and maritime environments, preferably within deck machinery, lifting, or handling systems • Good English and Polish language skills proficiency at a minimum B2 level • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
