Your new role
As a Senior / Staff Software Engineer (Automation / SRE), you will play a key role in building a next-generation automation system designed specifically for AI-driven optimization of compute workloads. You will work on creating highly scalable, distributed solutions that orchestrate workloads across on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including compute grids, emulators, FPGAs, and real devices.
You will contribute to developing production-ready infrastructure, integrating third-party tools, and enabling real-time data collection and analysis. Additionally, you will support and maintain existing systems, ensuring high availability and performance of critical workflows operating 24/7.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience working in a Unix environment, including writing and debugging shell scripts
- Solid programming skills in Python, with a focus on building performant solutions
- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and work in distributed systems environments
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a strong customer-focused mindset
- Experience with or interest in areas such as:
- Containerization and virtualization (e.g., Docker, QEMU, Proxmox)
- Operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS)
- Virtual machine configuration and management
- Observability, monitoring, and logging
- Large-scale cloud deployments
