We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a long-term Android Automotive OS (AAOS) project focused on an offroad navigation application within an In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system.
The role focuses on defining and maintaining an end-to-end test strategy, as well as owning CI/CD pipelines and release processes for automotive-grade Android software.
You will ensure high-quality delivery across emulator and physical hardware environments, and support OEM validation and release readiness.
Senior QA Engineer (Android Automotive)
Your responsibilities
- Define and maintain end-to-end test strategy for Android Automotive OS (AAOS) IVI application
- Design and manage test execution across emulator and physical automotive hardware
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and release processes
- Support Android release management (build variants, signing, packaging, artifact distribution)
- Develop and maintain regression and validation test suites
- Ensure release readiness and support OEM validation processes
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and debug system-level issues
- Manage and improve overall quality and stability of delivery pipelines
Our requirements
- Strong experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS)
- Deep knowledge of Android build system and integration
- Experience in CI/CD and Android release management
- Hands-on experience with automated testing (emulators + physical devices)
- Background in IVI / navigation / automotive systems
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Knowledge of OEM integration and Google certification processes
- Experience with automotive software standards (e.g. ASPICE)
- Background in connected vehicle systems
- Experience in embedded/mobile systems with high reliability requirements
