About the company For our client – a global manufacturing organization from the pharmaceutical sector developing its Shared Services Center in Warsaw – we are looking for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of Intercompany accounting processes across multiple entities. Scope of responsibilities: The position is focused on end-to-end ownership and governance of intercompany processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance across the group. •Act as a process owner for Intercompany accounting across multiple legal entities •Oversee and coordinate intercompany activities delivered by an external service provider (BPO) •Ensure timely reconciliation of intercompany balances, settlement flows and payment processes •Monitor process performance, identify discrepancies and drive issue resolution •Act as the main point of contact for intercompany-related matters for group entities and stakeholders •Oversee period-end closing from an intercompany perspective •Support audits, controls and compliance requirements related to intercompany transactions •Drive standardization, harmonization and improvement initiatives within the intercompany stream •Resolve escalations and complex intercompany issues using root cause analysis •Support process transitions and system changes impacting intercompany accounting Requirements: •Strong experience in Intercompany accounting, preferably in multinational environments •Background in SSC/GBS structures or process-driven finance organizations •Experience in coordinating or governing processes delivered by BPO providers •Solid understanding of intercompany accounting flows, controls and reconciliations •Practical knowledge of SAP •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills •Ability to operate effectively in an international stakeholder environment •Fluent English We offer: •Hybrid work model (2 days onsite per week) with more flexibility after onboarding •Stable employment in a growing international SSC •Performance-based bonus, holiday bonus and additional benefits •Opportunity to shape and develop AP processes at scale •Standard corporate benefits package
