about-project :


  • The JDE Project Manager will be responsible to upgrade JDE ERP North American instance. The project scope consists of application version upgrade, operating system upgrade, database upgrade, and other related server upgrades. The Project Manager will need to build effective relationships with stakeholders such as Business Partners, Project Owner, Business Analyst, Vendors, and End-users regarding project requirements. Project Manager must be versed in
  • adherence to BD’s project methodology and regulatory compliance followed for all systems implementations. The Project Manager will need to communicate across different countries/time zones as most of the team is in India, while others are located in Wroclaw, Poland, and Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. The experienced Project Manager will drive the successful implementation and work across multiple streams within the JDE North American community.

responsibilities :


  • The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic understanding, change management experience & exceptional communication & analytical skills together.
  • Liaison with stakeholders such as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, Vendors, and End-users regarding project requirements.
  • Manages project milestones to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, quality, and scope of project.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation according to the BD’s project management life cycle guidelines.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track the progress of the project including scope, critical success factors, deliverables, work breakdown structure, project schedule, budget, quality, resource plan, stakeholder management, and communications.
  • Manage scope change requests and coordinate with the Project Owner for further action.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders and vendors for the seamless execution of projects.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools.
  • Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks.
  • Report and escalate risks to the management, as needed.
  • Prepare project status reports in coordination with the other PMO members.

  • Program Management Concepts
  • Has technical and practical knowledge of the core Program Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) concepts and principles (e.g., agile, work breakdown structure, waterfall planning)
  • Demonstrated experience in driving projects from initiation through closure.
  • Skilled in establishing detailed scope, schedule, resources, and budget using standard project tools (MS Project/SharePoint/etc.)
  • Experienced establishing Stakeholder management plans, Risk/issue management plans,
  • Vendor management plans and Quality plans.
  • Experienced establishing and following controls to manage scope change and reporting project schedule/budget performance.
  • Experience managing JDE projects in an ERP environment with a structured SDLC release cycle, with integration to external TMS/WMS applications.
  • Proactive in surfacing risks and issues. Ability to engage project team and stakeholder community to resolve issues and define risk mitigations.

  • Experienced in the techniques to work in a virtual/cross cultural meeting environment.
  • Excellent time management skills. Able to work on multiple concurrent activities and prioritize personal workload and team-work load to optimize project delivery.
  • Ability to lead effective meetings/workshops. Creating meeting objectives, agendas, and timely distribution of meeting minutes.
  • Ability to manage meeting discussions to achieve meeting objectives and timeline.
  • 5 – 7 years of project management work experience using PMBOK guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook,
  • Project, SharePoint.
  • Experience running large JDE projects with associated release schedules.
