responsibilities :
Reactive and proactive solution design
Creation and documentation of technical specifications
Evaluation of existing processes and organization
Advisory methods and training courses recommendation
Post-implementation problem-solving (hyper-care)
Technical deployment and rollout of IT applications desirable in the international environment (Template/POC rollout)
Data migration
Interface Management
Guidance for operations team on implementation
Support in building up and continuously developing knowledge management
Project Management (including handover to operations)
Profound Know How of common project management techniques
Initiation and control of all project phases
Delivery of projects within scope, time and budget
Handover to operations (including knowledge transfers, documentation)
requirements-expected :
Installation and cabling of SAN switches and storage systems
Management of WWPN (world wide port names/numbers), SAN Zoning configuration, storage pools , storage volumes, hosts or host clusters(mapping/unmapping)
SVC (SAN Volume Controller) management
Creation/modification/deletion of storage pools, storage volumes, hosts etc.
Mapping/unmapping of volumes to hosts or host clusters
Replacement of defective parts
NetApp ONTAP (Activties / knowledge in):
Operation of aggregates, SVM, Volumes, Shares, Permissions Administration, Data protection, Metrocluster, High Availability, Single/Mulit node as well as ONTAP-Select, Cluster,SnapCenter/SnapManager, ActiveIQ Unified Manager, Storage Efficiency, brocade cluster switches, Upgrade / Update ONTAP (SP, Disks, Shelf, Bridges, Switches, ...), ONTAP Network, Installation & SetUp, Licensing, ProLion ClusterLion
Knowledgeable in deploying , managing , operating including upgrades for ONTAP Select
Strong communication skills, teamwork
