Supplier Quality Engineer

Our requirements
This position supports the Supplier Quality team and works in concert with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Sourcing and Engineering to develop key 3rd Party suppliers to a lean continual improvement culture to result in ESAB-branded product Quality exceeding customer expectations. Their responsibilities could include, among other topics: training supplier staff, assisting in developing standardization, problem solving, implementation of metrics & best practices, host kaizen improvement activities, determining and implementing corrective action, process and product improvement activities and customer-based initiatives. In addition, he/she will support the maintenance and compliance of the quality systems for 3rd Party facilities to ensure the adequacy, effectiveness and on-going registration and certification of quality standards, including all applicable corporate, regional, regulatory, safety and customer requirements.
