We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead financial analyses in the areas of biotechnological manufacturing and inventory management. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping the future of biotechnological manufacturing within our company by overseeing and driving the optimization of costs of goods. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to enhance efficiency and contribute significantly to our strategic goals.

Your role

• Financial Lead in analysis and reporting of costs of goods
• Ownership of the costing model
• Financial lead in analysis and reporting inventory movements
• Monthly reconciliation of production costs and inventory movements 
• Regular analysis of production orders and reporting of production variances
• Deep dive analysis and evaluation of root cause of production variances 
• Active engagement with production managers and collaboration with diverse operational teams across multisite setting, including teams like Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement
• Proactive attitude in preparation, proposing and implementation of costs optimization initiatives 
• Proposing solutions to streamline the process for month-end closure, 
• Managing various ad-hoc financial analyses
• Optimize and develop controlling tools, supporting the implementation of advanced solutions in ERP and reporting systems 
• Participate in preparation of answers and analyses for financial auditors
• Coaching business partners on finance planning, control and economics

If you have

• At least 8 years of experience as a business analyst/plant controller/financial controller in manufacturing company is required.
• Excellent understanding of production controlling, COGS components, production variances analyses and production costs settlement is required.
• At least 3 years of experience with SAP in the area FTM or/and DTS is required. Preferred SAP 4HANA.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical/ pharmaceutical sectors (or similar) will be a great advantage
• Very good English language skills required for effective communication in an international environment.
• Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting, with a preference for specialization in controlling/financial analysis.
• Expertise in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and resilience to stress.
