As the Scrum Master (SM), your main task is to remove impediments (when outside of the squad’s span of control). You will also have the overview of the roadmap. You will look at the internal functioning and process of the squad, dealing with the way of working improvements that are reflected in the backlog. You will act as the guardian of the Agile methodology within the squad. You are a servant leader for the squad, not a project manager nor a squad leader. As you will become a part of our infrastructure team, managing a diverse range of database technologies including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, you should be ready to develop a comprehensive understanding of this domain.
responsibilities :
Guiding and mentoring the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers
Building a successful team by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques
Ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice and guidelines
Mentoring the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skills, domain knowledge and communicating optimally, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team
Helping the Product Owner to take up his role and supporting him in managing the squad backlog.
Working with Scrum team, as well as internal and external partners, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams
Resolving team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the efficiency of the application of Scrum in the organization
Working with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role
Contributing to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
Facilitating and supporting all Scrum events: sprint planning, daily Scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective
Collecting and analysing squad KPIs and key Agile metrics
Acting as a servant leader who mentors and supports Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and to a lesser degree, important department initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiatives
Protecting the squad from external interferences
Ensuring the IT controls self-assessment is done by the squad and that it is kept up to date
Ensuring that risks and IT controls gaps are documented and agrees on remediation actions, escalating non-compliance and reporting on resolution actions plans to tribe lead(s)/roadmap manager(s)
Coaching the team towards a customer-centric organization

Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
Very good promoting skills on Agile values and principles
Knowledge of an Agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of traditional project management principles and practices
Knowledge to coach and facilitate the team at different levels and events: refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, predictability, retrospectives and other Scrum techniques
Knowledge of implementing Scrum in infrastructure and/or middleware domains
Knowledge to continuously improve our processes
Planning and problem-solving skills with product management and delivery teams
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least 3 years of project infrastructure experience with and Agile delivery model or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques
The ability to operate in a changing environment and to participate to the change
Experience in leading and coaching teams (local, virtual and hybrid)
The willingness to learn new things
Proven understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel
