For our client in the banking industry, we are looking for a Project Manager. The candidate should have experience in banking and strong experience in the governance area.

The Custody area at the client is responsible for custody and handling of our clients capital assets. As the clients custodian bank, we facilitate the process of settling transactions in clients securities, manage and process corporate actions announced by the issuers of these securities, and assist our clients in paying and recovering capital gains tax.

What we expect

  • 2/3+ years of relevant experience including project management governance
  • Securities Services or similar business type experience. Comfort with process lifecycle: Corporate Accounting, Fund Accounting, Trade Confirmation, Settlements, Custody, Transfer Agency type processes.
  • Process automation experience
  • Jira experience
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Process automation experience – as PM, BA or SME.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively document progress of multiple projects based on the calls with multiple parties.

Your tasks

  • Operationally implement management and oversight activities in collaboration with program and project managers.
  • Evaluate compliance with defined management process and overall adequacy through periodic management reviews to ensure compliance with requirements and reports / escalates issues.
  • Actions to eliminate root causes that consistently lead to data quality issues and non-compliance by demanding teams.
  • Analyzes scorecards/project management tools to identify program/project implementation issues.
  • Provides in-depth and advanced analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with PMO, CPMC (Citi Program Management Council) and other stakeholders to better understand and respond in a timely manner.
  • Supports key management and finds efficiencies in management processes, templates and reporting.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and manage approved improvements.
