Job Description

Here at evoke, our Principal Strategic Delivery Manager (PSDM) is a strategic asset, specialising in tackling intricate, complex, high-impact projects. Youll be a versatile leader and the go-to problem solver for very complex programmes and projects, utilising your expertise to deliver high-impact solutions that drive strategic value for the business.

In this role, you will have previously managed and successfully delivered large-scale, highly complex technology high-value programmes without support. You should also have the ability to manage senior stakeholders across different geographies. Youll be structured, methodological, and an expert in project management using tools like JIRA and Doviko.

The expectation is that youll oversee one large highly complex programme spanning multiple domains or two medium-sized projects in isolation, without supervision.

You will have the ability to collaborate effectively across these different teams and domains, making you invaluable behind the companys most critical strategic initiatives.

What you will be doing:

1. Project Management: Lead complex projects from concept to completion, collaborating with Delivery Leads and teams across different domains, ensuring early continuous delivery and the ability to pivot easily with change.



2. Strategic Focus: Influence the companys strategic goals by navigating complex dependencies and aligning deliverables with broader business objectives. Implement solutions that accelerate delivery and decision-making.



3. Lean Governance: Champion lean project management principles, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. Use waterfall and agile methodologies to streamline processes and controls.



4. Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication, proactive concern mitigation, and relationship building.



5. Cross-Domain Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of various development domains within the company.



6. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle with proactive strategies and contingency planning.



7. Sustainable Value Delivery: Focus on solutions that meet current needs and anticipate future challenges, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
