Managing Director (automotive)



Your responsibilities

  • Overseeing all operations and business activities in Poland to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall mission and strategy.
  • Developing business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives for the sales and manufacturing business
  • Building trust relationships with key partners and stakeholders
  • Taking initiatives together with the team to acquire projects in the automotive sector
  • Developing business prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction
  • Creating environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the company’s mission, vision, and values
  • Leading and motivating subordinates to develop and keep engagement
  • Making major corporate decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of a company
  • Monitoring how various departments of the company operate and how they work together to achieve overall goals
  • Enforcing adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality
  • Maintaining a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company

Employer requirements

  • Proven experience in senior management roles, preferably on C-Level positions in automotive sector, preferably in the area of sales or business development
  • Deep knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Proven experience and achievements in increasing the company's activity in the indicated industries in the field of sales
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, HR, finance, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent communication in English
