about-project :


  • The Business Architecture Process Intelligence Lead is a key position in the Global Business Architecture team reporting to the Global Head of Business Architecture Strategy and Engagement. The role will focus on enabling and embedding the process intelligence capability delivering insights and actions to a range of stakeholders. A key element of this role is to be the link between process modelling and process mining.
  • The Business Architecture Process Intelligence lead will for driving and building our Business Architecture practice by providing leadership, direction and guidance to the Business Architecture community and other areas of the business to ensure alignment to the Business Architecture Framework.

responsibilities :


  • Work with the Head of Global Business Architecture to evolve and maintain a solid, value adding Business Architecture practice. Provide guidance and definition of business architecture to effectively support business strategy.
  • Introduce new business architecture practices, processes, operating models, techniques, products, services, technologies, and standards where needed against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in the development of the business architecture framework, strategic tooling, design, and methodology development.
  • Works with the Business Architecture community to build the pipeline of opportunities and process mining projects, engaging with stakeholders and Product owner of ongoing projects.
  • Works closely with Heads of Business Architecture and enterprise architects to ensure that services, capabilities, and processes adhere to business architecture standards and will support business strategy and deliver desired business outcomes.
  • Support the development and evolutions of the target operating model; ensure the target business capabilities are defined and in place to deliver the HSBC business strategy.
  • Apply and utilize business modelling methods to help identify gaps in organisation’s services, capabilities, and processes.
  • Develop and deliver Business Architecture related training, advice, sharing across the HSBC Business Architecture Practice.

requirements-expected :


  • Proven experience (5-7) years in business architecture, business process management and process mining, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of process mining toolsets, preferably ARIS.
  • Solid understanding of business architecture concepts and best practices with the ability to be an advocate for leveraging enterprise business capability framework to deliver business value.
  • Support governance activities to enable effective management and decision making.
  • Architecture / Business Design and analysis modelling techniques, tools, and standard development>
  • Making strategic recommendations to leadership and GB/GF Business Architecture teams.
  • Understanding of the creation and maintenance of business process models aligned with Group Business Architecture standards.
  • 3+ years working with business architecture related tools.
  • Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate, or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business.
  • The ability to visualise and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture.
  • Experience modelling business capabilities and processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
