We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position requires in-depth expertise in SAP BW and SAP HANA, along with a comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain processes, specifically those managed within SAP systems. The ideal candidate should also have a solid grasp of front-end data tools like Tableau, SAP SAC, and Analysis for Office, with additional knowledge of cloud technologies such as Snowflake, Datasphere, and AWS seen as a strong advantage.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving data solutions and system integrations within the pharmaceutical supply chain environment, ensuring alignment between IT and business teams, and helping deliver optimal solutions for business operations.

IT Business Analyst (SAP BW, HANA, Supply Chain)

Your responsibilities

• Data Requirement Gathering: Lead sessions to collect and document detailed data requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clear specifications are communicated to technical teams for solution development.
• Data Onboarding: Oversee data onboarding processes to ensure accurate and seamless integration of data from multiple sources into the SAP BW environment.
• System Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to integrate and optimize SAP BW, Snowflake, and AWS solutions, enhancing data analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
• Supply Chain Management Expertise: Apply knowledge of supply chain management processes to ensure data solutions are aligned with the operational needs of the pharmaceutical industry.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between IT and business departments, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Project Management & Backlog Prioritization: Manage project backlogs, keeping teams motivated and aligned with the project timeline while handling potential risks and constraints.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Developers, and User Experience Designers to define the scope, explore solutions, and mitigate risks.
• Business Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and recommend solutions for automation or improvements through system enhancements.
• Documentation Ownership: Responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including user requirements, functional specifications, process flows, training materials, and technical SOPs.
• Solution Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of requirements implementation, from development and solution architecture to deployment and ongoing support.

Our requirements

• 5-7 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• Proven track record of data requirement gathering, onboarding, and system integrations in the pharmaceutical or supply chain sector.
• Strong experience working with SAP BW, HANA, and a comprehensive understanding of SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with front-end data tools, specifically Tableau, SAP SAC, and Analysis for Office.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, and DataSphere is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in SAP BW (7.5, BW4HANA) and HANA.
• Excellent understanding of Supply Chain processes in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with SAP S4 capabilities and functionalities.
