HCM Functional Analyst (Workday)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experience Workday professional to make a significant impact within a growing company and contribute to the successful operation of Workday.

In your role you will be in charge of ongoing maintenance, further configuration, and optimization of our functional Workday set-up, in collaboration with our functional experts (also acting as functional HCM analysts) and our Workday System Technical analyst as well as our Change Analyst. In this position you will report to our Lead Internal HR Governance, Strategy & Program Management (also acting as Workday System Owner).

• Support the functional analysts in configuring Workday
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday-related inquiries and escalations
• In combination with our HCM Change Analyst: Support the facilitation of user training sessions and provide ongoing support of post-implementation
• Evaluate system performance and recommend enhancements or optimizations to maximize efficiency
• In more detail:
• Maintain and configure templates, develop calculated fields, conditional routing and business processes that support the requirements outlined.
• Mitigate any opportunities of inaccurate data, business process routing, or impacts to other business areas
• Guide business stakeholders through Workday Release functionality review to determine what optional functionality we will turn on with each release
• Support configuration updates for all Workday modules impacted by releases and upgrades
• Lead/Participate in interactive discussions regarding requirements and possible methods of configuration within the Workday HCM Modules
• Understand and document impact of configuration changes to business processes and communicate to business stakeholders
• Support test activities by providing input to test cases recommended for configuration changes
• Conduct root Cause Analysis to determine appropriate action plan for break/fix including impacted employees/users/data clean-up
