responsibilities :
Analyse the organisations IT portfolio to assess performance, risks, and opportunities for optimisation.
Develop and maintain portfolio management processes, including project selection criteria, prioritisation methods, and performance
metrics.
Collaborate with business units and IT teams to align portfolio initiatives with strategic objectives and business priorities.
Monitor project progress and resource utilisation to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting portfolio performance, key insights, and recommendations.
Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate the impact of changes in resource allocation or project priorities.
Identify opportunities for consolidation, standardisation, and cost savings within the IT portfolio.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT portfolio management.
requirements-expected :
Proven experience in IT portfolio management, project management, or related roles.
Proficiency in portfolio management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms.
Worked in a fast-paced Retail environment.
Experience working with global teams.
Proven experience using MS Excel and other tools to structure analysis and MS PowerPoint and others to present complex findings.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all
levels.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT or ITIL, and experience implementing governance processes preferred.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or portfolio management (e.g., PfMP) is a plus.
Highly computer literate.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer focused approach.
Able to work both individually and as part of a team.
Able to prioritise, organise and deliver a complex and changing workload under pressure, independently and to tight deadlines.
Ability to guide and influence the development of junior colleagues through best practice in the discipline.
Experience of change management practices.
