Responsibilities:

• Further development of the applied production technology and integration in the postprocessor software
  
  
• Supervision and functional protection of the applied postprocessor software for the use on different manufacturing facilities in the area of responsibility
  
  
• Documentation of the developed or optimized software including the demonstration of the additional value for the organization of implemented functions
  
  
• Implementation of CAD/CAM standards and further development of the simulation process
  
  
• Cooperation and technical reporting to to the headquarters in Munich, Germany on a regular basis
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor/ Master/ PhD degree mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
  
  
• Knowledge in mechanical manufacturing processes (grinding, drilling, milling)
  
  
• Basic knowledge in thermal processes (laser processing, eroding) and associated production systems is an advantage
  
  
• Experience with Sinumerik 840D sl is a plus
  
  
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming in C++ or similar languages
  
  
• Knowledge of linear algebra, matrix calculation & geometric transformation
  
  
• Basic knowledge of CAD systems & simulation software (e.g. Siemens NX, Vericut)
  
  
• Open to qualification trainings in Munich in an modern and highly automated production environment
  
  
• Communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse, virtual teams
  
  
• Ability to work independently in an international environment
  
  
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English and optional German
