Responsible for all aspects of Spend Management including the execution of programs from Group Procurement as well as execution of local/regional programs.
Effectively manages long-term relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Responsible for negotiations and improving spend under contract with the right service levels; ensure delivery on company expectations, cost savings and capacity management.
Deliver annual cost reductions plans (negotiation plans) and PPV objectives.
Works with functional partners (Finance, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing, Legal and others)
Develops strong, ethical relationships with World Class suppliers and ensure good business practices and consistently compliant to our Code of Conduct.
Our requirements:
Bachelors Degree; MBA desirable.
Minimum 5 years relevant procurement experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 3 years of leading complex supplier negotiations.
Regional (EU and CIS) experience desirable, global experience a plus.
Fluent English.
Negotiation skills with knowledge of cost tools such as material breakdown, benchmarking, value analysis, value engineering, RFQs and innovative purchasing tools.
Knowledge of root cause analysis, problem solving, continuous improvement, corrective and preventative action, product quality assurance systems and supplier performance development and evaluation is helpful.
