Position Overview

Workday Finance System Lead role. Provide subject‑matter expertise on Workday Financials post‑implementation, optimize functionality, and support finance transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage third‑party finance systems: Workday Financial, Workday Prism Analytics, Workday Accounting Centre, Navan.
• Partner with Finance to improve systems and processes.
• Analyze and document current financial processes, identify improvement opportunities within Workday Financials.
• Establish best practice for operation and maintenance of finance systems.
• Gather detailed requirements for system enhancements and translate into functional specifications.
• Design, implement, and test custom reports, dashboards, discovery boards, OfficeConnect and financial processes within Workday.
• Manage Workday Financials data to ensure accuracy and integrity in reporting.
• Conduct end‑user training sessions and create user guides and documentation.
• Manage Workday Financials releases and assess impact on business processes.
• Support finance team during closing periods, ensuring seamless function and meeting reporting timelines.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure proper integration of Workday Financials with other systems and databases.
• Support effective operations of ITGCs over finance systems.

Education & Experience

• Proven experience with Workday Financials as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
• Expertise in Workday Financials configuration, reporting, and business process design.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience with data privacy and financial compliance regulations.
