Job Vacancy: Windows Automation 

 Location:

Poland - remote / office (Kraków)

Europe - 100% Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Automation Solutions: Create automated systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
  • Scripting and Programming: Write scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate repetitive tasks and system configurations.
  • System Integration: Integrate automation tools with existing systems and applications to streamline operations.
  • Testing and Validation: Test automated solutions to ensure they function correctly and meet requirements.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with automated systems and processes.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the performance of automated systems and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
  • Documentation: Document automation processes, configurations, and any issues encountered for future reference.
  • Collaboration: Work with other IT teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on the use of automated systems.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and best practices



Qualifications and skills:

  • Scripting and Programming: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate tasks and processes.
  • Windows Server Administration: In-depth knowledge of Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Automation Tools: Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Jenkins.
  • Virtualization: Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or other hypervisors.
  • Cloud Platforms: Understanding of cloud services like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, especially in the context of automation.
  • Networking: Strong grasp of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
  • Security: Knowledge of security best practices, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
  • Database Management: Experience with database systems, particularly in automating database tasks and migrations.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Skills in monitoring system performance and tuning for optimal operation.
  • Compliance: Understanding of compliance requirements and regulations related to IT operations and automation
