We’re currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join us as Vice President, ICM In-Business Quality Assurance - Data Analytics - Hybrid based in Warsaw, Poland. In this role, you’re expected to:

Support the Institutional Credit Management (“ICM”) objective of providing end-to-end credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, monitoring, and reporting for wholesale credit businesses. The ICM In-Business Quality Assurance (QA) verifies adherence to standards and processes, assessing the quality of policies, procedures, and practices related to wholesale credit risk management. The role involves identifying operational weaknesses, risks, training needs, and process deficiencies.

This position reports to the ICM Head of In-Business Quality Assurance and Head of Data Analytics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the development and implementation of a robust Data Analytics and Testing program for the Quality Assurance function related to Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) data governance.
  • Challenge the design and operation of data and credit processes within ICM, reporting gaps and concerns to senior management.
  • Query and clean complex datasets from multiple sources for advanced statistical analysis.
  • Design, plan, prototype, deploy, and maintain reliable data science solutions, deriving insights and assessing business impact.
  • Develop tools to monitor model performance and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with IBQA teams and provide analytics insights to QA Directors.
  • Assess complex data issues, structure solutions, and drive resolutions with stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry news relevant to WCR IBQA.
  • Support Voice of the Employee and diversity initiatives.
  • Travel less than 10%.

Ideal candidate skills and experience:

  • At least 10 years of data analytics experience in banking, including modeling, internal audit, or similar functions.
  • Good understanding of Wholesale Credit Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Core competencies:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in delivering complex QA work and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Technical skills:

  • Proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch is a plus.
  • Experience working with large datasets and big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Math, CS, Statistics, etc.).
  • Skills in SQL, Python, SAS, R, Alteryx, Splunk; visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI.
