Our Website Experience team is responsible for driving the user experience across all websites that our customers and partners interact with. We create, optimize, and maintain numerous pages and campaigns reaching current and future customers. We are seeking a Tech Lead to work closely with the team in creating and optimizing engaging pages across the Text.com ecosystem. You will coordinate three talented engineers supporting marketing initiatives such as landing pages and newsletters.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead daily cooperation within the website engineering team: status syncs, technical deep dives, demos, and problem-solving.
2. Ensure the technical roadmap supports business goals effectively.
3. Translate business and marketing goals into clear technical strategies and scalable solutions.
4. Define and evolve shared architecture, tooling, and best practices for experimentation and scalability.
5. Create and maintain shared resources like code templates, component libraries, and build pipelines for consistency and efficiency.
6. Own the quality and performance of all marketing and product websites, including code reviews and technical oversight.
7. Ship and iterate on high-impact landing pages, product pages, and content experiences supporting growth initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

1. Has experience building and scaling modern websites in a fast-paced environment.
2. Can own a web ecosystem end-to-end, from infrastructure to UX.
3. Knows how to audit, benchmark, and optimize for Core Web Vitals, SEO, and conversions.
4. Has introduced best practices in code review and collaboration among web engineers.
5. Has led web engineering teams and mentors engineers effectively.
6. Supports new team members through onboarding, pairing, and knowledge sharing.

Tech Stack:

• Must have: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Vite, WordPress, Vercel, Netlify.
• Nice to have: Hugo, Stimulus, Headless CMS (Decap, Statamic), PHP, Docker.
