  • We’re looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to help us elevate and automate our IT infrastructure. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain tailored CI/CD pipelines, develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, and integrate solutions across teams.
  • Your hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA, Python, and cloud technologies will be essential as you support end-to-end automation workflows and implement DevOps best practices.

responsibilities :


  • Design & Implementation of CI/CD Pipelines: Develop tailored CI/CD pipelines to address specific project requirements, ensuring seamless, automated deployment workflows that align with best practices.
  • Ongoing Pipeline Optimization: Maintain, refine, and enhance existing pipelines to keep them performant, secure, and aligned with evolving technological standards and business needs.
  • Cross-Team Solution Integration: Partner with multiple internal teams to successfully incorporate their tools and technologies into CI/CD workflows, fostering a more unified and efficient development environment.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Development: Build and manage reusable, reliable IaC manifests using tools like Terraform, enabling consistent provisioning and configuration of infrastructure.
  • API Gateway & Integration Experience: Apply knowledge of API development and integration with gateways such as Kong (preferred), Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, and others.
  • Toolset Mastery: Leverage tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub, and Python within automation workflows to drive consistency, scalability, and transparency in deployments.
  • Automation Scripting: Create and maintain scripts that streamline infrastructure tasks and deployment processes, reducing manual effort and minimizing risk of human error.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage regularly with developers, operations engineers, and QA teams to ensure smooth adoption and execution of DevOps methodologies and automation practices.
  • Self-Initiated Research & Problem Solving: Demonstrate autonomy in uncovering solutions by navigating internal documentation (e.g., Confluence), identifying the right stakeholders, and resolving technical unknowns through investigation and outreach.

  • CI/CD Tools Mastery: Demonstrated hands-on experience with popular Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis CI, GitLab CI, or Bamboo. Comfortable with configuring, optimizing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support various project workflows.
  • Strong Scripting Capabilities: Advanced proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, with the ability to write clean, efficient scripts that automate day-to-day tasks and complex deployment activities.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Expertise: Solid background in defining and managing infrastructure through code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to ensure repeatability, scalability, and consistency across environments.
  • Data Structuring & Config Management: Skilled in working with structured data formats including JSON, YAML, and XML, with the ability to manipulate, organize, and maintain configuration files and automation assets.
  • API Development & Integration: Proven experience working with APIs, including designing and executing API requests, integrating external services, and enabling communication between distributed systems.
  • Version Control Proficiency: In-depth understanding of Git and source control best practices, including branch management, repository organization, and seamless integration with CI/CD workflows.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using tools like Docker, along with familiarity with orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm, including their use within automated deployment processes.
  • Cloud Services Familiarity: Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with knowledge of native cloud services and the ability to integrate them into DevOps pipelines.
  • Monitoring & Logging Tools: Understanding of system observability practices and experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Splunk, including setting up and managing monitoring dashboards and log aggregation.
  • DevSecOps & Security Awareness: Knowledge of secure DevOps practices, including experience with automated security testing, vulnerability scanning tools, and promoting secure coding standards in pipeline workflows.
  • Agile Methodologies: Practical experience working within Agile or Scrum teams, able to adapt quickly to change, work iteratively, and contribute effectively in fast-paced development environments.
  • Networking & Security Foundations: Good understanding of essential networking protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and basic security mechanisms including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to break down complex technical issues, analyze workflows and system behavior, and deliver practical, scalable automation solutions.
  • Collaborative & Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex technical topics to both engineering and non-technical audiences. Comfortable working across teams in a collaborative, supportive manner.
  • Project Coordination Experience: Basic skills in managing work across multiple streams, keeping track of deliverables, dependencies, and timelines within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Initiative & Self-Learning Mindset: Self-driven with a passion for continuous learning. Proactive in utilizing internal documentation, seeking out subject matter experts, and researching external resources to solve problems and expand knowledge.
