ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The VMware Specialist will manage the migration of Standard Applications to a new VCF environment, including setup, mirroring, and hypercare. Responsibilities include conducting VMware-centric migrations, performing vMotion across compute and storage clusters, and optimizing workloads to create capacity for 2DC mirroring. Additionally, the role involves emptying and decommissioning existing PODs to enable the creation of new PODs for the VCF platform, ensuring seamless application transitions and effective capacity management.

• Preferably VCP in Datacenter (VMware certification).
• Experience working with large-scale VMware installations.
• Understanding of multi-site VMware installations.
• Understanding of VVD (VMware Validated Design).
• Experience with scripting.
