Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting – BNY, location: Wroclaw

Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate internal onboarding processes necessary to successfully set up new client accounts within the bank’s operational framework.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all required data, documentation, and system configurations are delivered accurately and on time.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of onboarding procedures, identifying efficiencies and helping to streamline workflows across teams.
- Ensure that all internal onboarding activities are aligned with regulatory requirements, control standards, and organizational best practices.
- Provide strong analytical and organizational support that enables smooth transitions and high‑quality execution of internal processes.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of daily accounting systems processing, workflow architecture, automation, and information delivery.
- Ability to write and read requirements documentation, create and execute test plans and deployment, and understanding of workflow orchestration. Knowledge of accounting processes, static data administration and platform conversions is a plus.
- Proven experience with process modelling and simulations, scenario developments and model office implementation.
- Some project management experience is desirable. Strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure with a track record of delivering against deadlines.
- Healthy appetite for building out functional expertise and knowledge and must be able to swiftly shift between independent work and collaborative tasks.
- Self‑motivator with a strong work ethic, initiative, critical and strategic problem‑solving skills.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organization skills and must be able to quickly gather and analyse data.
- BA in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or IT, and 7-10 years of experience in investment management and/or the financial services industry.
- Excellent multi‑tasking skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic working environment.
- Collaborative interpersonal skills, the ability to work within teams and a proven track record of building strong relationships.
- Flexibility to support market hours and do some after‑hours work when necessary.
- Experience using Eagle or Invest One products or other major fund administration software is required.
