For our Client - leader in investment banking in Poland, we are seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer.
Department: Data and Analytics Engineering
Location: Wrocław, Poland (hybrid - 4 days per week in office, 1 day remote)
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Own API services development lifecycle, from design to operations. Working in an Agile environment, you will use primarily Java with SQL and NoSQL databases hosted in Azure leveraging modern AI tools/ecosystem.
- Gather requirements from Product Managers, User Experience Designers and clients to drive feature development.
- Collaborate with engineering leads across the Data and Analytics solutions to define milestones and deliveries for new functionality as well as enhancements.
- Bring forth innovative solutions to challenging problems and owning them from ideation, implementation, and sustaining.
- Cooperate with your team on design sessions and ensure your team delivers high quality work that aligns with the engineering strategy.
- Ensure agility and scalability, as you work in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment setup.
What We’re Looking For
- At least Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering.
- At least 4 years of proven commercial experience with Java-related technologies and Angular.
- Experience in building complex, highly scalable multi-tenant applications that allow for ease of refactoring and unit testing.
- Experience with distributed and big data computing technologies and Platforms like Redis, Spark, Kafka etc.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, SaaS technologies, and public cloud providers (preferably Azure), as well as AI first software development practices.
- Experience with transforming monolith into microservices.
- Ability to work as a team, using Agile methodologies.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
