Critically assess risk narratives and high-risk memos from the First Line of Defence, ensuring clarity, completeness, and robust risk mitigation are documented fully.
Review and approve client risk assessments (Risk Narratives) within the eKYC tool, covering both new and periodic client reviews.
Lead the UK/EU correspondent due diligence process, advising on gaps and ensuring client responses meet BNY’s financial crime compliance standards.
Serve as the primary liaison for 1LOD, delivering 2LOD support and enhancing the quality and consistency of KYC/due diligence responses.
Generate and present insightful Management Information (MI) on High-Risk Memos and PEPs to support decision-making across EMEA legal entities.
Strengthen regional governance by maintaining advisory documentation (EMEA AML Advisory desktop manual) and supporting senior management approvals across EMEA entities.
Wymagania
Deep understanding of AML/CFT regulations across US, UK, and EU jurisdictions.
Hands-on experience with KYC/CDD, PEP screening, and adverse media analysis.
Familiarity with regulatory technologies (e.g., eKYC platforms, GoldTier).
Ability to synthesize complex data and regulatory inputs into actionable insights.
Skilled in developing risk-based frameworks and escalation protocols.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory concepts.
Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
