Role Overview

As a Vendor Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the front-line communication and support for our suppliers and for the quick resolution of invoices, payments, and ordering queries received from external suppliers or internal clients.

What You Will Do

  • React quickly and efficiently to bottlenecks in the process of supplier invoice processing
  • Maintain a good working relationship with our key suppliers
  • Continuously find ways of improving our internal procedures and processes to reduce transactional costs and processing times of supplier invoices and queries
  • Drive all vendor-related queries
  • Collect debit balances and recover duplicate payments
  • Solve ad-hoc issues and urgent payment requests
  • Manage account statements to drive account reconciliations
  • Handle inquiries such as PO-related, invoice, and payment-related queries

What You Will Need

  • Very good English and Spanish language skills
  • Knowledge of any other European language will be an advantage
  • Previous experience in sales support, customer support, and other related roles
  • Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable is an asset
  • Knowledge of SAP with a clear understanding of financial and procurement processes is an asset
  • Out-of-the-box thinking
  • Openness to cooperation with other peopleProactive and supportive approach
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills
  • Ability to set priorities and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to handle processes and drive process improvements independently
