Responsibilities
- Prepare VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions in EMEA
- Prepare standard Intrastat reports, EC Sales List and other VAT related reports if required
- Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of VAT
- Perform VAT related reconciliations
- Participate in transitions to shared services
- Support other functions in the area of VAT, for example in relation to tax audits and management reporting
- Cooperate with finance and tax staff as well as external service providers
- Participate in design and implementing standardized procedures and continuous improvement projects in the EMEA Region
- Assistance on the ERP systems modifications to reflect changes both in legislation and business transactions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 year experience in VAT and accounting (preferably in a shared services or multinational company)
- SAP/Oracle working knowledge
- Advanced Excel user
- Good command of English
- Fast learner with proactive approach to adopt changes
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in either Finance/Tax/Accounting/Economics or certified accountant degree/ tax advisor
- Good command of other European language
- SAP tax settings skills
- Experience in SharePoint administration
