performing a first-line review of allocated VAT reporting for the company and its Affiliates in different EU Member States
being the first contact with local tax authorities in wider Europe to discuss different VAT compliance issues
performing complex external VAT audits for the company and its Affiliates in different European countries will also be under your control and responsibility
coordinating, consolidating, and submitting statistical/intrastat returns in Europe
following-up and reporting to ITD management on VAT compliance issues and providing advice and guidance for strategic projects & business flows to ensure VAT compliance and avoidance of VAT cost
close collaboration with the accounting teams and the different tax functions will be required (amongst which Customs & Trade, Transfer Pricing, and Corporate Income Tax).
Requirements:
Graduate and/or university degree in Economics, Tax or Law
Min. 2 years of relevant work experience in the VAT area
Proven strong analytical skills
Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proficiency in English is required (min. B2+ level)
