VAT Analyst EMEA – Solenis

Employment Type: Full‑time

Contract: Contract of employment

Office Location: Giełdowa Street 1, Warsaw (near Rondo Daszyńskiego)

Work Mode: Hybrid (office‑based 3 days/week, remote 2 days/week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform first‑line reviews of VAT reporting for multinational companies and their affiliates in different EU Member States.
  • Coordinate, consolidate, and submit statistical/Intrastat returns to ensure VAT compliance.
  • Advise on strategic projects and business flows to ensure VAT compliance and minimize VAT costs.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams and tax functions, including Customs & Trade, Transfer Pricing, and Corporate Income Tax.
  • Perform Indirect Tax Controls to secure proper execution of indirect tax compliance processes and systems.
  • Monitor indirect tax law changes, assess impact on business operations, and implement required changes.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of VAT regulations.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Ability to analyze complex VAT data, especially considering the Principal Structure.
  • Ability to handle large amounts of data.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience in SAP is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Fluency in English.
