Role/Team Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to work within the Valuation Control Group as a finance intermediate analyst in the Global Securities Hub team. The role covers valuation control of the G10 rates and local market products inventory, requiring a strong understanding of financial instrument valuation, regulatory developments, and global account standards. The position involves independent price verification, valuation adjustments, fair‐value levelling, and evaluating the implications of new trade activity. It requires strong communication skills and teamwork across multiple locations and departments (New York, Warsaw, London, Singapore, Budapest).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform independent price verification, valuation adjustments, and fair value hierarchy results.
- Identify process gaps and control issues.
- Ensure timely reporting and communication of results and significant matters to stakeholders and regional & global heads.
- Build relationships across other finance functions (Product Control, Accounting Policy, Local Finance) and front office teams (Market Risk, Trading/Business Managers, Model Risk, Quants).
- Collaborate with the price verification team and other product‑aligned teams to support the valuation control function.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a quantitative related subject.
- At least 2 years of finance‑related experience, ideally in valuation, product control, financial control, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with financial products and valuation principles.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience handling high‑volume data.
- Understanding of financial statements and basic accounting concepts.
- Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication skills (minimum B2 level).
