Our Client is looking for a Valuation Control Expert to join their global finance team in Krakow. In this role, you will take ownership of key valuation processes and controls, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of fair value measurements across multiple entities. You’ll collaborate with teams worldwide to strengthen valuation governance, enhance methodologies, and streamline reporting processes.

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent understanding of financial instruments and valuation techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of VBA, Access, or SQL is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Ambitious, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a high-performing international team.
  • CFA or FRM certification would be considered a strong asset.

,[Oversee the end-to-end process for Fair Value Adjustment (FVA) and Independent Price Verification (IPV) calculations., Supervise the preparation of Prudent Valuation (PVA) and Fair Value Levelling (FVL) reports., Improve control frameworks and contribute to the development of robust valuation methodologies., Review and present key valuation metrics and management information for global committees., Monitor valuation model restrictions, assumptions, and recommendations., Work closely with Business Financial Control, Product Control, and Quantitative Analytics to ensure alignment between P&L and Balance Sheet valuations., Collaborate with Front Office, Market Risk, IT, and Operations to resolve valuation issues and drive process improvements., Support process optimization and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reporting quality.
