Summary

Position: Validation Engineer – AI/ML Hardware (Gaudi)

Employment Type: Full-time

The Opportunity: Join a world-class team focused on validating cutting-edge AI/ML acceleration hardware (Gaudi cards). As a Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the performance, stability, and reliability of AI compute systems by executing automated test suites, analyzing results, and diagnosing complex issues. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced infrastructure, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to the future of AI hardware innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze nightly test logs; summarize and report validation results.
  • Perform issue diagnostics, verify bug fixes, and monitor overall machine health.
  • Execute regression, performance, and version comparison tests across releases.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks to optimize validation processes.
  • Create and maintain documentation for test plans, configurations, and results.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and hardware teams to triage and resolve issues.
  • Utilize dashboards and monitoring tools to assess system health and performance trends.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for test result interpretation and issue debugging.
  • Hands‑on experience with Linux environments (bare metal and VM).
  • Familiarity with test automation, scripting (e.g., Python, Bash), and version control (Git/GitHub).
  • Experience with Jira, Kibana, Grafana, and similar validation or monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of test result analysis, defect tracking, and validation workflows.
  • Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with AI/ML workloads or hardware accelerators (e.g., Gaudi, GPU-based platforms).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated validation infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio, containerized environments, or virtualization tools.
  • Background in hardware validation, performance benchmarking, or system integration testing.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional, global teams.
