Right now, were on the lookout for an experienced UX Researcher to join our LiveChat product team. LiveChat is our flagship product, trusted by over 37 companies worldwide. Its got the largest user base, and were constantly pushing the boundaries to make it even better.

Youll be working directly with four product teams, each handling different aspects like growth, core experience, power users, AI, and automation. These teams are made up of Product Managers, Designers, Developers, and Testers. Youll be collaborating with, among others, the Head of LiveChat and our Product Managers.

We follow the Shape Up methodology, which means were all about efficiency and getting things done.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

As an experienced UX Researcher, you will closely partner with the Head of Product and Product Managers, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to inform product development decisions. Your insights will be crucial in shaping our product and directly influencing our strategic decision-making processes. You will contribute to crafting our vision and strategy and provide essential customer and market insights that will help us envision the future of our products, ensuring alignment with user needs and market trends. You will have full responsibility for planning and executing remote research projects across four teams while also training and equipping product managers and designers with the skillset and habits needed to conduct their own UX research projects. Additionally, you will play an integral role in shaping our product positioning by understanding our competitive landscape, user perceptions, and market trends, helping us establish our products unique presence in the market.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

  1. Experience in establishing, planning, and executing UX processes within a product-focused organization in collaboration with product managers and leaders.
  2. Ability to lead a research process by yourself, from identifying an exploration area, through planning and getting a product team involved, to drawing conclusions and suggesting prioritized solutions.
  3. Experience in working with Product Management and the Executive Team as an active participant in the development of long-term product strategy.
  4. Extensive knowledge in collaborating with teams that are driven by objectives and data.
  5. Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods and synthesizing gathered data into solution recommendations.
  6. A basic understanding of the software development process.
  7. Natural curiosity and passion to connect the dots to discover hidden patterns.
  8. The ability to build stories with data, articulate thoughts in a concise and engaging way, and express complex concepts in an understandable manner.
  9. Familiarity with event-based analytics like Amplitude, Heap, etc.
