We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a UX Product Designer in our Global Technology Organization with a focus on building Digital Products for QRGs vCommerce Ventures business and driving innovation in the Streaming space.
In this role, the UX Product Designer will report to the Senior Manager, Product Design and will continuously collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and be a core member of our Product Design Team. Participates in all phases of a product, from discovery to delivery to iteration. While sitting among fellow Product Designers and defining the UX (Visual) Designs, the Product Designer consistently collaborates and sits together with his or her product team along with their business stakeholders, engineers and developers building the product. The Product Designer is not only measured on the output of their design work, but more importantly on the success of their product, and grooming the Product Designers as the next generation of leaders. They are deeply oriented around actual customers and the value their product is bringing to those customers. They also understand that the product is in service of the business and can incorporate those concerns and constraints into the design of a product. Designers further understand that the user experience is as important to customer value as the underlying functionality.
Your Impact
UX goes beyond just UI—its about the entire Customer Experience. A Product Designer must understand that User Experience encompasses every way customer and end-user perceive and derive value from the product. This includes all interactions and touchpoints with QVC, spanning the entire customer journey. Modern products involve various interfaces (web, mobile, desktop, app, television) as well as other key touchpoints like email, customer support, notifications, online storage integration, and offline services. The focus should be on creating a cohesive and seamless experience across all these channels.
responsibilities :
Define product Interaction and Visual Design
Make strategic decisions and rapid Prototyping to bring the experience to life
Present design vision and strategy to the team regularly
Facilitate Design thinking sessions by integrating research and customer voice during the ideation sessions
Define problem to solve with Product Management and stakeholders to improve the product experience
Collaborate with researchers, engineering, product management and business stakeholders to prioritize and implement new features
Stay updated with industry trends and have broad knowledge of relevant technologies
Act as a customer advocate and promote understanding of the Product Design role in Agile Development.
requirements-expected :
3+ years of experience in Product, UX, HCI, or Web Design
BA in graphic or web design – OR equivalent work experience
Know the ins/outs of Figma religiously – OR be comfortable to learn. Ability to prototype with Figma.
Ability to know how to build and maintain a Design System Management
Understand Bootstrap, basic responsive framework or designing for 10-foot user experience
Embrace Mobile First and Lean UX Design Iteration
Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
Must be a champion of Accessibility and Compliance
Design Studio Facilitation and Rapid Prototyping
Usertesting.com knowledge moderated / unmoderated – OR be comfortable to learn
Experience in an Agile work setting (scrum, sprint cycles, etc.)
