About the role

We are looking for a talented UX Expert to join our partner’s project team focused on building a robust data management and monitoring solution within the Apache Kafka ecosystem. As a pivotal UX Designer within our organization, you will assume a critical role in conceptualizing and executing an entirely new user interface for our partner’s system.

We are looking for a person who would like to stay with us for a longer period of time.

In terms of tools, your experience will guide the selection process, as you will be entrusted with the responsibility of choosing the most appropriate tools for the UX design, ensuring that they align seamlessly with the project’s objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX Designer (8+ years) with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects focusing on apps.
• In-depth understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Familiarity with the Apache Kafka ecosystem and data management solutions is a plus.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, and the ability to select and implement tools based on experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Capability to assume leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user needs.
• Conceptualize and design user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
• Play a pivotal role in the implementation of a redesigned layout for our partner’s data management and monitoring system.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iteratively enhance design solutions.
• In the future: the possibility of managing a team of UX designers.
