Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements: - Experience developing plugins for Unreal Engine (C++)
- Experience developing plugins for Blender (Python)
- Strong understanding of at least one major DCC platform (Maya, Houdini, etc.)
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Familiarity with common plugin SDKs/APIs
- Experience integrating tools with external web services or cloud platforms
- Understanding of 3D pipelines: meshes, materials, cameras, scene graphs, etc.
- Familiarity with real-time/viewport performance considerations
- Nice to Haves:
- Background in 3D visualization, VFX, or game development
- UI/UX experience inside tool viewports
- Knowledge of WebRTC, real-time collaboration tech, or custom DCC pipelines
Responsibilities: - Design and develop plugins/add-ons for Unreal, Blender, and additional DCC tools.
- Implement features such as scene sync, annotation display, camera navigation, and asset metadata exchange.
- Build stable communication layers between the plugin and our platform backend.
- Optimize performance for large scenes and real-time environments.
- Collaborate with product, backend, and UX teams to align plugin features with user workflows.
- Maintain documentation, versioning, and deployment pipelines for plugin releases.
- Troubleshoot issues across different OS and DCC versions.
