About the project
For the project that we are working on with our foreign partner, we are looking for Ukrainian-speaking Senior Java Developer.
Your responsibilities
- You translate complex processes and abstract requirements into program logic and data models
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Core, Spring Security, etc.)
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues
- The occasional implementation of smaller user interfaces or support with DevOps tasks is also no problem for you
- Supporting product management and sales with technical aspects of the requirements analysis
Our requirements
- Proven experience in creating Java applications and Java-based web applications, preferably using the Spring framework (Spring Core, Spring Security, …)
- Experience in development of of the Electronic Regulatory Platform (ERP)
- Experience in GeoInformation tools and tools for end users as components of ERP, eg. Geo ArcGIS, Ookla, Chatbot
- Experience in Price comparison tools
- Knowledge of SQL and SQL databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle) as well as NoSQL and Hibernate
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of API design and integration
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Very good Ukrainian, English and Polish
- Good design skills

- Knowledge of front-end languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, Angular, etc.) is an advantage

We have an office in Krakow, but if you like to work remotely, that’s absolutely fine. Over the next few months, we plan to continue working this way. After that, you decide according to what you prefer. We are OK with fully remote work. For us, you can be located anywhere. :)
