We are seeking an experienced Lawyer / Legal Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will provide legal support primarily in the areas of contract law (including the review and drafting of third-party vendor and client agreements), data protection law, and corporate law for our UK entity.

You will collaborate closely with the UK legal team as well as various international departments, playing a key role in navigating complex legal challenges. The ideal candidate brings strong legal expertise, a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities

Commercial Contracts – third party vendors and clients:

• Advice in the area of commercial contracts in tech/insurance (Software as a Service (SaaS), Data as a Service (DaaS), platform solutions, in an international commercial context.
• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts, including sales, supply, license and other relevant contracts.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and monitoring the legal framework for contract fulfillment.
• Support in the settlement of contractual disputes and advice on the enforcement of contractual provisions and risk management.
• Knowledge and understanding of UK and EU data protection landscape
• Ability to review and update data processing agreements, contractual provisions for third party vendor and client contracts, and implement local privacy policies and best practices
• Supporting the international data privacy office with data protection-related analyses
• If required, ability to manage tasks related to entity management and preparation and review of corporate documents such as shareholders agreements, board resolutions, minutes and other relevant legal documents.

Qualifications

• Completed law studies and qualification as a lawyer or legal advisor.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the areas of contract law, data protection law and corporate law.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Very good communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to present complex legal issues in an understandable way.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in an international environment.
• Interest in working in a dynamic, multinational company.
