In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing automated workload solutions using Broadcom’s Automic Automation Workload Engine on Red Hat Linux. Utilize the Automic Web Interface (AWI) to oversee automation workflows, set up new jobs, and monitor ongoing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Automic Automation with various environments, including SAP, Informatica, Business Objects, and Web Services. Develop and manage automation scripts using Power Shell and Bash to enhance process efficiency and reduce manual interventions. Configure and maintain Automic agents for Linux/Unix, Windows, and other platforms to support diverse application and infrastructure needs. Oversee secure external file transfers via Automic Proxy for SFTP, ensuring data integrity and security compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the workload automation environment, including log analysis, debugging, and implementing preventative solutions. Maintain and optimize the Oracle database supporting Automic, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. Document processes, configurations, and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational continuity. Willingness to participate in shift planning and weekend operational support. requirements-expected : Proven experience as an Automic Engineer, Automation Engineer, or in a similar role working with UC4/Broadcom Automic. Strong expertise with the Automation Workload Engine on Red Hat Linux. Proficiency in scripting with Power Shell and Bash for automation and task optimization. Hands-on experience with Automic Web Interface (AWI) on Tomcat and the Automation Tool Chain (ATC). Solid understanding of automation agents across Linux/Unix, Windows, SAP, Informatica, Business Objects, and Web Services environments. Familiarity with SFTP and secure external file transfers using Automic Proxy. Experience with Oracle DB for automation database management and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to automation optimization. Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
