Recruitment Process:
Stage 1: Phone call with {skills} matter recruiter (15-30 min)
Stage 2: Online meeting with manager (60 min)
Your Daily Tasks:
- Work closely with key Finance and Project stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements.
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process for the Strategic Ledger, and product rollout into production for Services Controllers organization.
- Execute test scripts according to application requirements documentation.
- Identify defects and recommend appropriate course of action; perform root cause analysis, in collaboration with the Projects team and Controller SMEs.
- Retest after issues are fixed, to ensure problems are resolved.
- Actively communicate UAT testing progress/status with Controllers and other stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or related field.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with global corporations and financial services experience gained in Banking or in an associated consulting role.
- Significant experience with the implementation of complex reporting solutions to support both group-wide and local financial, regulatory, and management reporting processes.
- Understanding of General Ledger and Chart of Accounts design concepts, Data Governance concepts, US GAAP, IFRS, and Local GAAP standards.
- Pro-active problem-solver, highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team-oriented, organized.
- Good understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques.
- Product knowledge of simple loan and deposits products will be beneficial, but not required.
