Purpose of the Role

Support the UAT QA team for the Implementation side of Technology Operations, focusing on UAT and QA responsibilities.

Job Description

Require skills to build and improve test cases, automation, and to evaluate, analyze, and perform quality assurance testing in coordination with our U.S., Spain, and Poland teams to meet all client needs or internal projects.

Purpose Of The Team

The Quality Assurance User Acceptance Testing (QA‑UAT) Team plays a crucial role in ensuring the success and reliability of client implementations within the motor and property insurance industry.

Focused on Personal Lines Insurance clients, the team specializes in creating comprehensive testing requirements and validating data to maintain high standards of quality.

By embedding themselves in the client implementation process, they enhance confidence and deliver seamless onboarding for new clients, also supporting the introduction of new products or updates.

Leveraging automation to efficiently create and validate data, the team collaborates closely with development to test product enhancements during the UAT phase, ultimately driving improvements and maintaining excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Design and improve how we write, store, update, and run UAT test cases, including regressions
  • Run test cases to certify builds, new features, etc.
  • Certify and sign off on stories/releases
  • Join the agile team, attend stand‑ups, retrospectives, etc.
  • Contribute to writing automated tests in the back‑end
  • Manage time for critical task deliverables
  • Evaluate usability and functionality
  • Perform a variety of tests: functional, backend, data‑driven, UAT, and Rest API testing
  • Assess and improve working methodologies (Lean Six Sigma)

Qualifications

  • Education in IT or Computer Science desirable
  • Some experience in SQL (basic queries and structures) and a programming language Python (basic level)
  • Automation experience a plus (JMeter, Postman, Python, Playwright)
  • Practical experience with XML, JSON, web concepts such as REST APIs, HTTP GET and POST
  • Fast learner, flexible to testing methodologies, processes, tools, and techniques
  • Advocate of quality assurance and test practices
  • Team player, working with local and offshore teams
  • Self‑motivated under strict deadlines
  • Understanding of the Project Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
  • Time management: multitasking, managing and completing priorities
  • Strong communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Knowledge of Agile development and testing principles
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model as a full‑time employee in Cracow city‑center based office

Desired but Not Required

  • Knowledge of property and auto insurance underwriting
  • Jira experience to manage and track task
