Establishing the GBS is a global project, where all transactional accounting processes are gathered into regional Business Centres in the Americas, Europe, Asia/Pacific and China.

The European Business Centre is based in Warsaw where experienced accountants and specialists will provide bookkeeping and accounting services for more than 30 European ECCO companies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing intercompany financing and loans
• Maintaining bookings of treasury transactions in SAP treasury module
• Support the preparation and management of financial contracts and agreements related to cash and banking
• Participation in month-end and year-end closing reporting activities
• Support in administration of bank accounts, bank mandates and accesses
• Involving and support in cash-flow management process (analyzing forecast file & cash flow situation)
• Active participation and technical support in global project of new bank integration
• Maintain treasury systems and tools, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency
• Daily cooperation with the Global Treasury Team
• Communication with stakeholders via e-mail/telephone in alignment with service management processes
• Providing statutory and internal audit support
• Recommend tools and process enhancements to improve operational efficiency

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in treasury or finance area
• Basic knowledge of accounting
• SAP experience is a must (especially Treasury module)
• Proficiency in the use of Excel
• Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Quality and deadline oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and focus on results
• Ability to deal with key stakeholders (internal and external)
• Proactive approach with strong organizational skills
