Treasury Chief Investment Office Product Control - Senior Analyst

Job Description

You are passionate about working in Product Control within the Treasury area. This role is for you if you meet the following criteria.

As a Product Control Analyst in the Treasury Chief Investment Office (TCIO) team, you will support key Middle Office processes for JP Morgan Treasury Chief Investment Office. Your responsibilities include producing and substantiating P&L and Risk reports for CIO/Treasury Front Office/Management, providing analysis and commentary to portfolio managers. You will collaborate closely with the Finance Controllers team on month-end P&L reconciliation and promote robust controls and new business initiatives. This position offers opportunities to work with various stakeholders and serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control.

Job responsibilities:

  1. Produce and substantiate P&L (profit and loss) and Risk reports for CIO/Treasury Front Office/Management.
  2. Provide analysis and commentary to portfolio managers for daily book reviews and sign-offs.
  3. Perform month-end P&L reconciliation and collaborate with Finance Controllers to ensure proper reconciliation of P&L and Balance Sheet.
  4. Partner with the business to implement robust controls and new initiatives.
  5. Participate in developing technology to support new business flows.
  6. Coordinate with front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues promptly.
  7. Work closely with stakeholders such as Markets Risk, Finance, Business Management, Valuation Control Group, other Line of Business controllers, technology, and Project Management Office on BAU and ad hoc requests.
  8. Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control.
  9. Handle various ad-hoc requests daily.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  1. Experience in the financial sector.
  2. Experience with P&L and month-end close processes.
  3. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  4. Understanding of financial products.
  5. Problem-solving attitude.
  6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a focus on controls.
  7. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
