You will be working in Panasonic’s European Finance Competency Centre, supporting our local sales companies in the region. The main office of European Finance Competency Centre is in Barcelona.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Cash Management & Forecasting

• Monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts
• prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, ensure optimal liquidity and funding

Banking Operations

• Execute payments, manage bank interfaces, and ensure timely processing of transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain banking documentation and support KYC processes

Treasury Accounting, FX & Risk management

• Post treasury-related transactions, support foreign exchange operations: FX deals, hedging, revaluation, assist in month-end closing
• Ensure compliance with controls and accounting standards, collaborate with finance teams to mitigate financial risks

Reporting & Automation

• Generate treasury reports, support management and audit with process data and documentation
• Support TMS and ERP integration, participate in system upgrades, testing, and automation initiatives

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You have successfully completed your education with a focus on treasury and/or have relevant professional experience in a similar role.
• You have good knowledge of MS Excel, SAP (S/4HANA) and Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba, FIS, SAP Treasury, or similar).
• Your way of thinking is characterized by analytics, you have ability to recognize process/system deficiencies, propose and drive improvements.
• You understand financial background of Treasury operations: knowledge of financial instruments, cash flow, FX, banking products, IFRS principles related to Treasury.
• Your strengths include a structured, autonomous working style and a hands‑on mentality.
• You speak English fluently (additional European language as an asset) and are able to work in a multinational, complex matrix organization (most of the team located in Barcelona, Spain).
