Treasury Analyst

We are looking for a Treasury Analyst.

In this role, as a Treasury Analyst for CBRE Investment Accounting and Reporting Solutions (‘CBRE IA&R’), you will work in a successful and ambitious organization that is a leader in the Fund Accounting of Real Estate Funds, Joint Ventures, and Separate Accounts. The Analyst, Treasury Bank Account Management is responsible for managing the ongoing bank account management process across multiple clients.

The candidate has a collaborative role within the Treasury and Payments team in EMEA and participates in the onboarding of new activities and clients. The candidate should be a dynamic and flexible person who can perform tasks independently and work well as part of an international team and environment. Together with the team, they will be responsible for maintaining contact with international clients, banks, and external service providers to ensure the accuracy of bank account information and the smooth processing of client requests.

Within CBRE IA&R, you will be challenged to develop yourself, extend your knowledge and skills, and further improve and professionalize various processes within the company.

What are going to be your main responsibilities?

1. Coordination of the opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts.
2. Setting up and maintaining required cash management services (including bank connectivity, cross-border payments, deposits, sweeps).
3. Maintenance of relationships with international banks, implementation/maintenance of various banking services/products.
4. Responding to banks KYC requirements.
5. Participation in client meetings related to new and existing contracts.
6. Acts as administrator on various banking/payment platforms.
7. Maintenance of the bank account database in the treasury management system.
8. Participates in project groups as needed for new initiatives.

What are we looking for?

Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent experience may be considered).

2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in Treasury or Banking.

Strong written and verbal communication skills (fluent English a must).

Proficient understanding of financial and treasury terminology.

Result-oriented with an analytical and problem-solving attitude, looking into details.

Able to set priorities and meet critical deadlines.

Team player with good interpersonal skills.

Thrives in a high-paced environment.

Nice to have: Experience with real estate, REITs, and real estate investment funds.
