We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Treasury and Payments Consultant to mentor, guide, and support our operational team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the teams capabilities in treasury management and payment processing, ensuring best practices and compliance are followed.

Job Description

Your main area of responsibility in this position will include:

1. Provide expert advice and support to the treasury and payments operational team, fostering their development and enhancing their skill sets.
2. Conduct training sessions on cash management practices, financial instruments, and compliance regulations.
3. Provide experienced guidance in onsite/online transition projects, including migration processes and documentation updates.
4. Be part of the back-up structure formation.
5. Lead the identification of opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs, driving solution development in collaboration with your Process Owner team.
6. Collaborate with the Process Owner team to implement standardization strategies and identify KPI opportunities.
7. Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes affecting treasury operations.

Qualifications

We are inviting to this recruitment everyone who has:

1. Proven experience (1+ years) in treasury management and payment processing/consultancy roles or a related financial role.
2. Prior experience in a consulting or advisory capacity is preferred.
3. Strong understanding of cash management practices, financial instruments, and compliance regulations.
4. Strong background in leading transition projects, including process migration and documentation management.
5. Experience in developing and implementing backup structures for operational continuity.
6. Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to treasury & payments operations (ERP systems, SAP is a plus, treasury management systems).
7. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
8. Understanding of market trends and regulatory changes affecting treasury operations.
9. In-depth knowledge of risk assessment techniques and financial risk mitigation strategies.
10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
11. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
12. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and data management.
13. Proven ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives and standardization strategies.
14. Proactive and results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
16. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry best practices.
17. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide excellent service.
18. Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
