Travel & Expenses Specialist with ITALIAN

As a Travel & Expenses Specialist, you’ll be in charge of your own cases of employee travel and business expenses ensuring that they are processed in accordance with the company policy and international regulations and regional guidelines.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  1. Audit expense reimbursement requests to ensure compliance with policy in supported countries.
  2. Support direct manager with the operational tasks related to Travel & Expenses.
  3. Responsible to track and update country travel policies and support the market with expense related tasks.
  4. Control Corporate card applications and follow up with employees with overdue account.
  5. Perform timely month end activities, such Accruals, Account Reconciliations and Compliance Controls.
  6. Train/educate employees on how to report their expenses in SAP Concur System.
  7. Support T&E team communicating with the country (translations required).
  8. Provide feedback and support to key stakeholders (CFO’s, Executive Assistants, frequently flyers, etc).
  9. Keep all local procedures updated through Work Instructions, for team backup, and T&E Decks for market self-service support.
  10. Perform daily activities according to SLA’s and KPI’s established.
  11. Support all employees queries daily through our ticketing tool, focusing on critical/high impact tickets.
  12. As LPO (Local Process Owner), support and provide feedback to GPO’s/RPO’s requests.

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

  1. Proficiency in English and Italian is a must.
  2. Another European language is a plus.
  3. Professional and/or education finance & accounting background will be highly beneficial.
  4. Familiar with SSC structures and set up.
  5. Quality and focus oriented.
  6. Strong customer focus, solution-oriented.
