Your role is to lead and optimize transportation operations across the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. This role is responsible for developing and executing transportation strategies, managing carrier relationships, ensuring compliance with regional regulations, and driving continuous improvement in service and cost efficiency. The successful candidate will align transportation operations with broader Logistics goals in a fast-paced, international environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitors carriers performance and service levels for all product categories distributed locally, reporting deviations to agreed SLAs and leading corrective actions for under-performance.
- Tracks and reports service and quality performances and claims.
- Acts as a single point interface for internal and external customers, developing and improving transportation methods to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Owns the local transportation cost budget. Performs cost analysis on transportation expenses and recommends modifications to meet industry best practices, in cooperation with the logistics sourcing department.
Qualifications
- Master degree in Engineering/Economics
- Min 5-6 years of experience in transportation management / in organized logistics sector
- Proven knowledge of Transportation and Logistics industry
- Analytical, data-driven decision making
- Ideally from a company with large omnichannel distribution (WHOLESALE, RETAIL, ECOM)
- Fluent in English; Polish
- Proficient using MS Office
- Available for business trips
- Experience of stakeholder management in a complex global environment
- Strategic thinking and strong influencing skills
- Good communicator across all levels with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Target oriented and proactive with problem-solving skills to manage complexity and ambiguity
- Excellent self-management practices; flexible, adaptable, and pragmatic
